Warner Robins Little Theatre is closing out its 2008-2009 season with a real thriller. “Murder Americana: The People vs. Lizzie Borden” looks back on the infamous tale of Lizzie Borden, who was charged with and acquitted of murdering her father and stepmother in 1892.
Director Cathy Collins said the play is different from the way most plays are written.
Grant Blankenship/The Telegraph Lizzie Borden, played by Laura Silsbee, center, remembers the death of her father, played by Russ Hokanson, while under questioning by a prosecutor played by Terry Minyard in “Murder Americana: The People vs. Lizzie Borden.”
“It’s a recall or memory play as well as showing what’s going on at the inquest and trial,” she said.
The cast of 17 will re-create Lizzie’s trial, as well as scenes from her memory and a look at her life after the trial.

I always find these kind of plays to be good. They focus on recreation and are usually very entertaining. I remember I went to see A play a while ago that I thought would be boring but it turned out to be pretty good. And it was very similar in makeup to this one. Classic and suspenseful. The people who go to see this are in for a real treat. Enjoy.
